Priety and Abhishek Bachchan are the unfortunate other halves of Shahrukh and Rani who try their best to keep the relationship going. If they succeed or fail, is for you to find out in Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna. <br /><br />The songs to look for are Mitwa and Rock and Roll Soniye. Both are very melodious and have an excellent picturization and choreography. You can also find 'Mitwa Revisited' in the movie's sound track cd. It is my personal favorite. The other songs are OK to miss.<br /><br />This is a typical Karan Johar movie. The first part of the movie has its funny scenes and the second part is serious and at times melodramatic.<br /><br />Some of the dialogs by Amitabh Bachchan make a 'Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna' mark in the audiences minds. One dialog in particular is wonderfully put by Mr. Bachchan:<br />"Maut Aur Mohobbat humesha bin bataye aati hai", meaning Death And Falling in Love always come unplanned.<br /><br />In this 3 and a half hour screening the audience is treated to laughter, drama and a couple of melodious songs. <br /><br />Priety Zinta looks gorgeous as a strong headed business woman. Kirron Kher is at her typical best as she was in Hum Tum.
